In Guatemala, the school year ends in October and begins the following January. For kids, October is a wonderful time because the rainy season ends, school is over, and Christmas is just around the corner! For many parents, however, their minds immediately begin to worry how they will make enough money to enroll their kids in school when January comes around.

The majority of school costs need to be paid in January. These costs include registration, books, school supplies, uniforms, and the first month of tuition. While most families can afford the monthly tuition on their own, it is a huge struggle to get their children registered and ready to attend in January. This is why Servants, Inc. through its Serving At Risk Families ministry has decided to start an annual campaign to give you an opportunity to invest in the education of a child who otherwise will not be able to afford it.

How will you invest to break the cycle of poverty?
